Your 3-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech begins with an early morning departure. First, you’ll travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, passing charming Berber villages and lush cedar forests. Then, you’ll visit Ifrane, often referred to as “Little Switzerland” due to its alpine-style architecture. Afterward, you’ll continue to Azrou, where you can see Barbary apes in their natural habitat.
Next, the journey takes you through Midelt, known for its apple orchards and beautiful mountain scenery. As the day progresses, you’ll head south toward Merzouga. Finally, upon arrival, you’ll experience the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert. You’ll ride camels into the dunes to watch a breathtaking sunset, and after that, spend the night in a traditional Berber camp under the stars.
Early in the morning, you’ll witness a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara Desert. Then, after breakfast, you’ll ride camels back to Merzouga. From there, the journey continues to Rissani, which is well known for its bustling traditional markets.
Subsequently, you’ll visit Erfoud, famous for its fossils and date production. Finally, you’ll continue to Boumalne Dades, where you’ll relax, have dinner, and spend the night at your hotel.
