After breakfast, you’ll go on a historical tour of Morocco. First, you’ll visit Meknes, an old city with important historical sites, including the impressive Babb el-Mansur gateway, the Sahrij Souani Basin, and the beautiful Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll head to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city that dates back to AD 24-28. Then, you’ll go to Moulay Idriss, a notable pilgrimage center. The day ends with a scenic drive to Fes, where you’ll check into your riad and begin exploring the city.
Spend the day exploring the Fes Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit key landmarks such as the Al-Attarine Madrasa, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous tannery. Discover the vibrant souks, historic mosques, and the bustling markets. Overnight in Fes.
After breakfast, depart for Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Berber villages and the lush Ziz Valley. After breakfast, we will travel to Taroudant through Taznakht, a village known for its carpets. Along the way, we will stop at Taliouine to visit the Saffron co-operative. If we’re lucky, we might witness the saffron harvest and meet the Berber women and their families working in the fields. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Taroudant. There, we will explore the narrow paths in the Medina, surrounded by beautiful red mud walls. Known as “the little Marrakech,” Taroudant’s walls were constructed by the Saadian dynasty in the 16th century before they relocated to the larger “Red City.
Overnight accommodation will be in the local Riad at the end of the first week in Morocco.

In Agadir, we’ll take a short walk to see the shoreline and then continue to Essaouira. The coastal route offers beautiful scenery and is famous for the Argan. Your overnight accommodation is at a Riad in the Medina.
After breakfast in your riad, we will visit Essaouira, known for its preserved 18th-century seaport fortifications listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll see the Skala Fortress, the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Museum, and the beach. You’ll have a traditional Moroccan lunch where you can choose your own fish from the market. In the late afternoon, we’ll depart for Marrakech with an opportunity to visit an Argan oil co-operative. After taking photographs, we will continue to Marrakech for your first contact with the city. You’ll get to see the vibrant streets and bustling markets and enjoy the famous square of Jemaa El fna in the evening. Overnight, be in a Medina-based Riad.
Today, on our 14-day tour from Casablanca to Marrakech via Chefchaouen, we will go to Marrakesh, which is a town that showcases Morocco’s exotic culture and charm.
