Itinerary: 2 Days Desert Tour From Ouarzazate to Merzouga

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Ouarzazate to begin your 2-day Desert Tour to Merzouga. The journey takes you along the scenic Kasbah Road, passing through the Rose Valley and the Todra Gorges, where you’ll have time to take stunning photos and enjoy a walk. After lunch, you can continue your journey to Merzouga. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a camel ride to a Sahara Desert camp, where you can climb the sand dunes, watch the sunset, enjoy mint tea, savor a traditional dinner, and spend the night stargazing or dancing around the campfire.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate

On the second day, be sure to wake up early to catch the breathtaking sunrise over the desert. After breakfast at the camp, you’ll have the option to return to Ouarzazate either by camel or 4×4 vehicle. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to stop and capture photos of the stunning desert landscape and the lush date palms of the Draa Valley. You’ll also pass through the vast Anti-Atlas Mountains before arriving back in Ouarzazate, marking the end of your unforgettable 2-day desert tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga.
