4 Days Ouarzazate Desert Trip to Erg Chebbi Dunes

After breakfast, we’ll depart from Dades Valley and head to the Todra Gorges, a stunning valley that stretches about 14 km long. In the final part of the valley, we’ll take a leisurely walk to admire the breathtaking rock formations and towering cliffs. Next, we’ll head south along the historic route of the Paris-Dakar Rally towards the village of Ramlia, which lies near the desert of Ouzina. Ouzina is a charming Berber village set in a spectacular location near the Algerian border. We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at the Riad Ouzina, immersing ourselves in the local atmosphere.

On the fourth day of our 4-day Ouarzazate Desert Trip to Erg Chebbi Dunes, we’ll visit the village of Ouzina, where we’ll have the opportunity to meet a real nomadic family in the desert. Afterward, we’ll head to Erg Chebbi in the Merzouga Desert, stopping for lunch in the village of Khamlia. Following lunch, we’ll embark on a camel ride to our traditional nomad tent camp, where we’ll witness the stunning sunset over the dunes. As night falls, we’ll enjoy a traditional Berber music performance under the starry sky in the Sahara Desert.

Today, early risers can watch a stunning sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, we will head back to Ouarzazate through Rissani, the beginning of the Alaouite dynasty ruling Morocco. Then, we’ll pass through the Berber villages of Alnif and N’Kob and through the Draa Valley to Agdez for lunch. Later, we will continue our 4-day Ouarzazate Desert Trip to Erg Chebbi Dunes. We will arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, with enough time for your flight if needed.
