Wake up early to see the stunning sunrise over the desert. After breakfast at the camp, say goodbye to Merzouga and head to Ouarzazate. On the way, admire the beautiful landscapes of the Atlas Mountains and make stops at scenic viewpoints. Upon reaching Ouarzazate, visit the city’s famous landmarks, including the Taourirt Kasbah. This UNESCO World Heritage site showcases traditional Moroccan architecture and has been featured in numerous films and television shows. Spend the night in Ouarzazate and take time to relax and contemplate the day’s adventures.
We’ll have breakfast the following day and begin our journey from Ouarzazate. We’ll drive through the valley of Ouarzazate, where fields of beautiful roses are in full bloom in May. Our next stop will be Ighram, “the fortified village” of Ait Ben Haddou. We’ll have lunch there, near the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s famous for being the filming location of movies like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and The Mummy. After that, we’ll head to Tizi Ntichka, a mountain road, where we will climb to the top and take pictures of the fantastic view. Finally, we’ll reach Marrakech, known in Tamazight as Amour N Akouch, or the land of God. Our driver will pick you up at your last destination in Marrakech, marking the end of the 4-day tour From Fes To Marrakech.
