Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley
Begin your 5 Days Tour From Marrakech to Desert, exploring the vibrant city with its markets and rich culture. Enjoy a scenic drive through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at Berber villages and picturesque landscapes. Arrive in Boumalne Dades in the late afternoon, where you’ll settle into your accommodation with stunning views of the Dades Valley.
Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, depart Boumalne Dades for Merzouga Desert. Stop at the stunning Todra Gorge to admire its towering cliffs. Then, continue to Merzouga, where you can settle into your desert camp or guesthouse and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the desert.
Day 3: Merzouga desert experience
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert on a guided excursion. Visit local nomadic settlements and learn about Berber culture and traditions. Enjoy activities such as sandboarding and camel riding. Return to your desert camp for another night under the stars. Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert to Ouarzazate
After breakfast, leave Merzouga for Ouarzazate, the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Enjoy the scenic Atlas Mountains with stops for views. Upon arrival, visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Taourirt, exploring its hallways and courtyards while taking in the desert landscape.
Day 5: Ouarzazate to Marrakech
After breakfast, say goodbye to Ouarzazate and begin your journey back to Marrakech. Travel through the beautiful High Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to enjoy the views and perhaps have a relaxing mint tea at a local café.
Arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or preferred location. This marks the end of your amazing 5-day desert tour from Marrakech to the desert.
