After we meet, we’ll begin our 6-day trip from Fes to Marrakech via Chefchaouen. We’ll pick you up at the airport and take you to your accommodation. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for our upcoming adventure. Our guided tour will commence in the Medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll start by visiting the landmarks of Fes El Bali, including the Al Quaraouiyine University, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Nejjarine Fountain, and more. We’ll have a traditional lunch in the Medina before exploring other parts of Fes, such as the Jewish Quarter (The Mellah). Finally, we’ll return to the Riad.
After we had our breakfast, we went on a guided tour to a place called Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue City. We’ll drive through the beautiful Rif Mountains, and once we’re there, we’ll explore the old part of the city, visit the markets, and walk around the peaceful streets to take some great photos of the famous blue walls. After that, we’ll have lunch at a traditional restaurant and buy some of the city’s unique handmade crafts at the market before returning to the hotel.
We will begin our 6-day tour from Fes To Marrakech Via Chefchaouen. Our journey will take us through Morocco’s diverse landscapes. We will visit Ifran and the cedar forest near Azrou during the trip, meet the Barbary monkeys, and have lunch at Apples Midelt. Then, we will drive through the high road of Tizi n’Taghamt and the fantastic landscapes of Ziz Valley. We will pass by the town of Fossils Erfoud before arriving at Merzouga. After having tea, we will ride camels towards the dunes of Erg Chebbi to enjoy the sunset. Later, we will head to the desert camp for drum music, dinner, and stargazing.
We plan to wake up early to witness the magnificent sunrise in the Merzouga desert. After that, we will visit the Tinghir Oasis and Toudra Gorges before heading towards Erfoud. Then, we will explore the beautiful Dades Valley, drive through Kelaat Mgouna and the Valley of Roses, visit the Skoura Oasis, and finally check-in for an overnight stay at the Ouarzazate hotel, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.
Today is the fifth day of our 6-day tour from Fes to Marrakech via Chefchaouen. After visiting the Kasbah of Taourirt, we will explore the Ouarzazate studios. Our next stop will be Ait Ben Haddou, a large and ancient Kasbah recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site and a renowned filming location for famous movies like Gladiator, the Kingdom of Heaven, and Jesus of Nazareth. In the afternoon, we will drive through the stunning high mountain landscapes of Tizi n’Tichka Road, passing by several Berber villages where people lead a simple lifestyle before reaching Marrakech. We will spend the night at a hotel in the Red city.
On your last day, take some time to see more of Marrakech’s cultural sights, like the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the lively markets. Enjoy some tasty Moroccan food at a nearby restaurant before heading to the airport for your flight home, signaling the end of your amazing 6-day tour from Fes to Marrakech via Chefchaouen.
