We’ll begin with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque before heading to Rabat, the Moroccan capital. In Rabat, we’ll explore the modern city and the historic Hassan Tower, along with other interesting sites.
From Rabat, we’ll drive to the blue city of Chefchaouen, passing through the beautiful Rif Mountains. Upon arrival, we’ll take a walk by the scenic Ras El Ma River before giving you free time to wander the blue-washed streets.
Chefchaouen’s architecture is influenced by the old Jewish culture, and you can shop for Moroccan handicrafts in the city. We’ll spend the night in a traditional hotel.
We are on the second day of our 8-day Desert Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. Today, we will leave Casablanca and head to Meknes, which was the capital of the 17th century. There, we will explore the culture and historical sites such as Bab El Mansour, Sahrij Essouani, The Royal Stables and Granaries, and the underground monuments.
Then, we will travel to Volubilis, passing through Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, the holy village. Once we reach Volubilis, we will learn about the history of the Roman Empire and see the ruins and gates.
Finally, we will continue our journey from Casablanca to Chefchaouen to Fes, enjoying the views of the Moroccan countryside along the way.
We will begin our third day of the Sahara Desert tour by having a delicious Moroccan breakfast in Casablanca before exploring Morocco’s oldest city, Chefchaouen. During our guided tour in Fez, our team will show you the Royal Palace with its magnificent brass doors and fine zellige, surrounded by carved cedar wood. Next, we will visit the Mellah, the first Moroccan Jewish Quarter, and the Jnane Sbile Gardens, a serene oasis with beautiful natural views and Moroccan fountains. Then, we will wander through the narrow streets of the old Medina, lined with the most beautiful Moroccan handicrafts, and admire its captivating architecture and culture. Additionally, we will visit the University of Al Qarawiyyin, El Merenid Tombs, Bab Boujloud, Chouara Tannery, and The Madrasas. After the guided tour, we will return to the hotel/Riad for the evening and stay overnight.
We will begin our 8-day Desert Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech by driving through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will pass by the green Cedar Forests and the Berber village of Immouzer. Then, we’ll go to Ifrane, also known as the “little Switzerland of Morocco.”
Next, we’ll visit the Berber town of Azrou, a place of unique experiences. We’ll explore its beautiful Cedar forest, where the air is fresh and the monkeys are mischievous, offering a delightful interaction. After this, we’ll head to Midelt, the Berber village of Rocks, for a traditional Moroccan lunch and a deeper understanding of the ancient Berber culture.
Our journey to Merzouga, the Golden Gate of the Sahara, is a visual treat. We’ll pass through the stunning Ziz Valley and the dramatic Ziz Gorges, each offering a unique and breathtaking view. As we reach the Merzouga Desert, we’ll prepare for a camel ride into the golden sands of the Sahara, a journey that promises a mesmerizing sunset and the incredible sensation of being in the Sahara desert.
We will spend the night in a charming Desert Camp, marveling at the serene desert silence under a mesmerizing starry night sky.
We will wake up early on the 5th day of our 8-day Desert Tour From Casablanca to Marrakech to see a beautiful sunrise over the desert. After breakfast, we will travel to meet our private driver and drive for 4.5 hours to the Dades Valley, a city at the foot of the Atlas mountains. On the way, we will stop in Rissani to visit a traditional countryside market. Then, we’ll continue our journey, enjoying the spectacular views of the Moroccan landscape. We will see Acacias trees and then head towards Dades Gorges, where we will explore its remarkable cliffs and canyons. Finally, we will arrive at Dades Valley, have a delicious Moroccan dinner, and spend the night in a lovely hotel.
We’ll start our tour with breakfast at the hotel, then head to Ouarzazate via the Berber village of Skoura. In Ouarzazate, we’ll explore the town’s old markets and ancient mud streets.
Next, we’ll visit the International Film Studio, known for filming Hollywood movies and series like Game of Thrones, Gladiator, Babel, and The Jewel of the Nile. After that, we’ll continue to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou to explore ancient Royal Palaces and Moroccan architecture. We’ll have lunch at a traditional Berber restaurant before driving through the Tizi’N Tichka Pass.
Finally, we’ll arrive in Marrakech and drop you off at the hotel so you can rest and prepare for the next day.
The next morning of our 8-day Desert Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech will begin with breakfast at the hotel. We will then explore the Red City of Marrakech, walking through its narrow red streets and authentic Souks and visiting its most famous ancient monuments, such as El Bahia Palace, El Koutoubia, and the Majorelle Gardens.
In the evening, we’ll stroll through the crowded square of Jemaa El Fena, where we can experience musicians, storytellers, henna women, snake charmers, and food sellers. We’ll have dinner at the square before heading back to our hotel.
As our tour from Casablanca comes to an end, it’s time to bid farewell to Morocco. Depending on your departure flight time, you may have the opportunity to do some final sightseeing in Casablanca or savor a cup of tea at one of the city’s traditional cafes before making your way to Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport for your flight.
