Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Taliouine – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

After breakfast at your hotel, we will begin our journey eastward from Agadir. First of all, we’ll stop in Taliouine, often referred to as the Moroccan Capital of Saffron due to its renowned saffron production.

At this point, we will either enjoy lunch in Taliouine or, alternatively, continue to Taznakht, a town famous for its Berber carpets. In the afternoon, we will head to the remarkable Ait Benhaddou, a historic kasbah recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After visiting this iconic fortified village, we will drive to Ouarzazate. Finally, we’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a charming riad hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Zagora – Tamegroute – Chigaga Desert

Following breakfast, we will set off on a scenic drive through the lush palm groves of the Draa Valley. Along the way, you’ll admire the changing landscapes as we make our first stop in Zagora.

There, we will visit the famous Quranic library and explore an underground kasbah. Afterward, we will continue to Tamegroute, where you’ll discover a traditional pottery workshop. Later on, we’ll drive to M’hamid for lunch.

In the afternoon, an hour-long camel ride will take you deeper into the desert. Subsequently, we’ll travel along a scenic off-road route across the rocky desert to reach the vast Erg Chigaga dunes, which stretch for over 70 kilometers. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink at the nomad camp. Then, you’ll have time to walk across the dunes and enjoy a spectacular sunset. In the evening, dinner will be served at the Berber camp, and you may choose to sleep in a comfortable tent or, alternatively, under the star-filled desert sky.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Agadir

After breakfast at the desert camp, we will begin our return journey. First, we’ll travel alongside the dry Lake Iriqui, enjoying the unique desert scenery. Next, we will head toward Foum Zguid before continuing to Taznakht for lunch.

Finally, we’ll drive back to Agadir. By late afternoon, we expect to arrive around 6 pm, marking the end of your unforgettable Agadir to Chigaga desert – 3 days tour adventure.
